Selling once he gets to your farm...

I talk a lot about strategies to get customers to notice you and your products--to get then calling or visiting. That's the first part of marketing--getting them to your farm. (Or shop, or booth, or website) But there's a whole 'nother category of marketing (sales) that involves getting them to part with their money and take your "thing" home with them.

Another marketing person had a great article today on this very thing so I will share his link http://www.jonathanfields.com/blog/ and ask you to read his blog about the "Moron Tours"

And I can summarize what I think makes for better sales with just one word. Listen. Really listen to what that prospect says and internalize it so you understand what he wants, what he's hoping for. Easy! Best wishes for better sales this coming week!!!
